How It All Began
Beglarian Fabrics was founded in 2018 by Karen and Elena Beglarian, a husband-and-wife duo who moved from Russia to Lyon, France.
What started with a friend's request to source premium European fabrics quickly evolved into a passionate journey.
With no prior industry connections, Karen and Elena began sourcing forgotten deadstock fabrics from renowned luxury mills and fashion brands.
Operating initially from apartment, they meticulously authenticated each roll, developing unique methods such as fiber burn-tests to confirm fabric composition.
This rigorous approach soon earned trust from designers, brands, and creators globally.

Today
Today, Beglarian Fabrics curates weekly catalog updates, offering exclusive selections from over 5,000 deadstock fabrics.
Driven by a commitment to sustainability, transparency, and community, we strive to transform the textile industry into a responsible, circular economy, one fabric at a time.
"We dream of a fashion world where unused fabrics are rare — where every roll is recognized, valued, and reintegrated."
Our Mission
Our mission is simple yet transformative: to offer premium, overlooked fabrics a second life.
We connect conscientious designers with high-end, sustainable textiles — reducing waste and revealing the beauty in what was once forgotten.
