Fleece (fleece fabrics) is a synthetic polyester cloth, sometimes made with recycled fiber. A brushed pile on one or both sides gives a soft, warm, matte feel. It is light and comfy on skin. Common uses: sportswear, insulating layers and linings, plus accessories—hats, scarves, gloves—and home pieces like throws and pillows.
