1) Where we ship & carriers
We ship worldwide from France and carefully pack your order according to the packaging method you select at checkout. We use reliable international carriers (e.g., DHL, UPS, and others) for secure and timely delivery.

2) Shipping terms (Incoterms®)
All orders are supplied under Ex Works (EXW) terms, Incoterms® 2020. This means the buyer assumes transport, risk, and costs once the carrier (or buyer’s agent) takes charge of the goods at our warehouse in France. Under EXW the buyer is responsible for export/import formalities and customs where applicable.
Pickup/hand-over point (EXW):

Note (EU movements): within the EU Customs Union, there are no customs duties on goods moving between EU Member States.
3) Customs, import taxes & VAT (destination-based)
You are the importer of record and are responsible for customs clearance, import duties, local taxes (including VAT/GST) and any carrier brokerage/handling fees in your country, unless stated otherwise by law.
European Union:

No customs duties on intra-EU movements. European Union

VAT is charged according to destination-country rules (OSS/IOSS schemes may apply, and the former €22 VAT exemption is abolished).
United Kingdom:

For consignments up to £135 sold to UK consumers, VAT is charged at checkout by the seller; over £135, import VAT (and any customs duty) is normally collected on import. GOV.UK
United States:

De minimis: goods valued up to US$800 per person per day may enter duty- and tax-free (Section 321); above that, duties/taxes may apply. U.S. Customs and Border Protection
Canada:

CBSA applies duties/taxes per federal rules; certain courier imports may benefit from relief depending on value bands (e.g., CA$20/40/150 under specific conditions). Please check CBSA guidance for your shipment. cbsa-asfc.gc.ca
Australia & New Zealand:

Australia: low-value imported goods can be subject to 10% GST collected by the overseas supplier; other border charges may apply depending on value. ato.gov.au

New Zealand: for low-value goods (≤ NZ$1,000) sold to NZ consumers, overseas suppliers may be required to collect 15% GST; higher-value goods are assessed at the border. ird.govt.nz

Reminder: Information above is a compliance overview; local law prevails. Carriers may charge brokerage/processing fees on import in addition to duties/taxes.
4) Rates, currencies & thresholds
Unless stated otherwise, rates are flat per order and thresholds are based on order subtotal. Currency is shown per destination zone and charged in that currency.

5) Processing, hand-over & tracking

Orders are prepared after payment is confirmed and packed according to your selected packaging method.

Under EXW, risk transfers when the carrier (appointed by you or on your behalf) collects the goods at our facility.

Tracking details are provided when available from the carrier.
6) Delivery issues
Please inspect your shipment on receipt and report any loss/damage to the carrier and to info@beglarianfabrics.com promptly so we can assist with a carrier claim where applicable.
